2ND Attempt

I actually got it on time!  Only 5 hours of sleep, or less. The air was a bit warm and humid as I left for the B train in my flip flops. I was smart enough to leave my heels in my purse. Rain won't get me again because I strapped my umbrella to my purse, ditched my big bag and only brought my attaché with audition info.
As I look around at the other ladies here I noticed that the black ladies are more fresh faced so I'm wiping off this pretty lip. Book of Mormon probably don't need all this luscious lip. lol Why am I the only one wearing pants?  So far, each time I've come here to Equity,  they are all wearing dresses. Stay tuned!

I auctioned!  it was only 6 of us. Apparently The Book of Mormon passes people off and few people audition. I have no religious ties so it doesn't bother me at all! there will be another one next week and I'm coming to that one too!
I audition for Mary Poppins next at 11!

Dresses! I need to pull out the one I have. I also have to find an iron. lol So,  the audition called for me to have A similar to the show and have an English accent. I had no such song on hand no I had I practice since I had nothing to work with. I pulled out the only song close to soothing and it was all at once by Whitney Houston n and I sung it with English accent. After I finished, the piano player  said to me that he had never heard anyone saying it that way before and he laughed. I told him neither had I, first time for both of us and I laughed. The only person I was audition for also laughed.  halfway thru the song I was singing my voice started shaking which hasn't happened to me since high school. I must say it was the most interesting audition ever given. If they called me back I'm going to laugh my face off.
