Back To SUGAR Bar!

I decided to stop at a very affordable hot do place and was not disappointed. Grays Papaya, Omgs!  so good! So, I get to Sugars and sit in the same place for about 10 min when I was asked to get up because it was reserved. I stared in disbelief. He told me I could sit upstairs. Now, I don't know nothing about this place so I was immediately annoyed and insulted. How could there not be signs?  How could they let me sit for so long?  I had to go outside and vent on the phone, I was all in my feelings. I didn't want to go upstairs and sit alone. Of course I did go up eventually. And I like it. The open mic has begun!  I go downstairs to sign up and guess who I see? Mrs. SIMPSON FROM ASHFORD & SIMPSON herself!  Can you say GEEKED?!  FAINT
**UPDATE **
I sang Patti Labelle's If Only You Knew" and got a standing O! Mrs. Simpson was upstairs so when I got to the top of the stairs she starts yelling, get in here, come here"! And everyone up there applauds and cheers! I got hugs and compliments!  That's when I finally got the nerve to ask to take a picture. Tonight was a good night.
