Cloves & Clovers

Yesterday I talked to Gerald at length about my throat issues. So since I have no auditions today, I'm in search of cloves. I'm hoping to that will be my good luck charm. He said that they are antimicrobial and I should hold it inside my mouth or chew it but not to swallow the leaf.  Did you know it's a natural remedy for tooth aches? It makes sense since all medicines are derived from natural treatments. Our western medical ways are more about money than actual cures. I need to get a natural remedy book. As soon as my clothes are done washing and I meet with this lady for intake I'm outta here!

My afternoon plans didn't go as I'd hoped. THEY GOT BETTER!  I was gonna go back to Manhattan to handle more business but my morning appointment ran long. The guy who did my intake interview was also a performer!  We talked for hours. in the midst of the interview we discussed all kinds on places I can go and practice,  audition, perform and learn!  As it turns out,  one of the places has karaoke tonight and is a great place to network!  And who has a pass?  THIS GIRL!  I can now resume my grind, nighttime!  Now I've got to find food. smh I talked through lunch and I'm starving.

I left. The place was a bust. The Blue Note across the street had a line. 5 shops down! I was way to hot and sticky for that. Plus I'm sure there was a cover. I made it back to the shelter in good time. I need to rest for the HAIR SPRAY audition anyway. GOOD NIGHT WORLD!
