Early Rise Early Crazy

I actually got up before the old ladies!  omg 5:30 isn't my style anymore. I figured I would eat breakfast and get ready for my first audition of the week.  They served the basest of oatmeal, and cheerios. I sucked down the oats and rolled out! I'm reading these street signs for my life now. lol smh Got on the right train, wrong direction again. I think it's my thing now. Easy enough to fix a the next stop. Head back toward Times Square and see NEW YORK TIMES for the first time!  I wonder if they give tours?  So I head to Equity, go upstairs and show my ID. The lady asks which one I'm auditioning for and I draw a blank, whip out my phone and calendar only to see I didn't write the title down,  and mixed up auditions in my head. I have two tomorrow!  "She Loves Me" I thought was today. smh There are others I can audition for but I'm not monologue confident yet. That is my only weakness. That scares me for some reason. I pretend a lot, sing a lot but act very little. Time to go back and work on it!

So...because I can't keep still I left and went exploring for dinner. Thanks to donations I don't have to eat that shelter food! (which raised my blood pressure)  I encountered a lady selling purses! I asked hoe much for the black and brown one she says $35. I say thanks and walk away, she says ok, $10. lol Now, I like cheap as well as the next person but ummm. That doesn't sound like long lasting stuff. My stuff is heavy. As I walked away she says "what kinda game you playing at"? lol Me? lol I told her I just wanted a price. I had a avocado smoothie from a new place!  I felt healthy just knowing it was avocado and fresh. It was a short stay because I had been waiting for the counselor at the shelter all freaking day! So I went back. it's now 10:00 pm and I just left her desk. Good thing I found the roof. Now I have a place to practice and not disturb people. Note to self, don't try to go on the roof when the red door is closed. The alarm is loud. Maybe if a fireman comes I'll get a date?! lol good night world!
