Oh What A Night

Good morning!  I woke up in a cube with no ceiling, staring at the roof. I can't say I moved on up. Rather I moved on over. Let me back up.
   After I left the VA with my transfer papers and other instructions I headed back to base for some unfinished business on their part and to pack. As I get there I'm told the lady that needed to process me out was in a meeting. I knew I would need a ride to the new place so I went and packed so I would be ready. this was maybe 3pm. After a while went by I checked again and they said to come see her after dinner which ends at 5:30 so I did. I then find out that she had gone for the day and I had to wait for the counselor. She took her time till around 8ish. I kept coming to her and she kept putting me off till she called me. smh When she did,  I had all my paperwork ready. Why did she have no idea that I was transferring, nor that I needed a ride. The supervisor told her nothing! Because they were short staffed and she couldn't drive (typical New Yorker) I would have to take the bus. She offered me bus passes to get there. Thanks? I was not in the mood for that heaven duffle bag and tote. I left without the passes since I have my own card and didn't want a thing from them. I was pissed! As I walked a block to the bus and the weight of stuff pulled on my already drained body,  I decided, screw this!  The bus was late and I was tired so I hailed a cab! (Thanks to your donations)  I decided to not take the hour long hard way. I was pleased to see it only cost $17! I tipped him $3. Was not impressed with this warehouse set up or the area it was placed. I felt like I was going to work. The inside looked a bit dirty and their are men here on the other side. The drunks were a bit distasteful. :-/ I'm at the vet place.
But I have my own sleeping quarters in the women's wing and it's kinda
peaceful. No roof on the rooms means I hear every freaking thing but No one can touch my foot. LOL They have out rules here so I can't be back in my room till 4:30 and out at 9:30. Good thing I hustle all day! Headed out to try out for Hair Spray!

This new station is cleaner than the ones in Brooklyn. Looks like they pressure washed it. The pic of the stairs in 42 and Times Square. yall know my outter fat girl and my inner skinny girl both wanted to cry. smh only 3 stops and I'm there!

NO HAIR NO SPRAY! how I managed to do it again idk. Hair Spray is August 5, next Tuesday. smh So I signed up for what's here. omg I need a monologue in like 30 min! Bye!

*UPDATE * I promise yall my butt is dead. I've been sitting here forever!  I hope I get picked for one of these shows! I earned it off stamina alone!

So, I'm the stinky kid in the room. When I packed my clothes for this audition I didn't realize the dress hadn't been washed yet. I'm stuck on the corner giving myself a headache. smh. it's 3:36 and I've been here since 8:30 am! CALL MY NAME!!

I waited from 8:30 to 5:30 pm just to be told that they won't be accepting non union auditions!  I was most definitely in my feelings so I went downstairs and left. I decided to treat myself and eat a good hot meal and get a drink and Fridays was three steps away! So I had a blue burger, fries, some orange cream malt with somebody's liquor in it and Brownie Madness!  Full, a Lil tipsy I walked to the subway about 14 minuet away and regretted eating so much. I haven't had that much food at one time in months. smh Almost fell down the not moving escalators once and then steps once but made it back to my station. And no I wasn't drunk, I'm just really bad with stairs plus I am tired.

As soon as I get back to my ceilingless room I shower off my day. I was looking for a bit of happiness thinking Scandal was coming back on tonight. nope! As I'm on the phone talking to Nicole (my great friend) I get an email. Somehow it was open yet I don't remember doing so. (exhausted passed my fingers) It reads; We would love to bring you in for the role of PAULETTE in LEGALLY
BLONDE on Norwegian Cruise Line.
